Introduction to Relational Databases - CS 725

Overview of database architectures, including the Relational, Hierarchical, Network, and Object Models. Database interfaces, including relational algebra and the SQL query language.

Relational Database Design - CS 726

Fundamentals of relational database design. Entity-Relationship diagrams, UML, and design principles. Normal forms and functional dependencies. This course recommends the prerequisite of CS 725.

Linear Regression - MATH 764

This is an introductory course on regression analysis. Topics include simple and multiple linear regression models, least square estimates of parameters, hypothesis testing, and confidence intervals. Students are expected to use software packages like R to analyze data.

Model Diagnostics and Remedial - MATH 765

In this course, we will examine the situation when the assumptions of the regression model have been violated and how to remediate them.
